Apply for a re-entry permit to the Affairs Center
How to register for re-entry: (for additional information, check with Immigration Administration).
(I)Condition for application:
In specific migrant worker is in an emergency that needs to return home or take leave for returning home within the perpetuity of the employment permit, apply for re-entry permit at the local office of Immigration Administration by himself/herself or the employer or the job broker 1 day in advance.
(II)Time limit
In general, the period permitted for re-entry is 1 month, and may petition for a longer period where necessary by presenting the written request from the migrant worker and the employer to the local office of Immigration Administration for application.
(III)Fails to return to Taiwan by the deadline
If the migrant worker fails to re-enter Taiwan by the allowable deadline after returning to home country, apply with this office for approval of re-entry before the migrant worker can come back to Taiwan
