▍Precautions when cleaning up after a typhoon and torrential rain
After a typhoon or torrential rain, sewage, mud and standing water bring with them the risk of infectious diseases, so when cleaning up, be sure to take the following precautions
•Wear rain boots or wellington boots, waterproof gloves and a face mask
•Watch out for sharp objects such as nails and pieces of metal to avoid puncture wounds or cuts

•Do not eat food that has been in floodwater or thawed for too long
•Boil drinking water or buy commercially available bottled water
•Thoroughly clean and disinfect living environments, kitchen utensils, and tableware exposed to floodwater
