▍Emergency response measures for mountain incidents

What to do if you encounter an urgent situation in a mountainous area?

Step 1 :Remain in place, do not flee the scene, take a deep breath and calm down

Step 2 :Check what items you have on your person that can be used, and whether anyone around you has been injured

Step 3 :Avoid cliffs, falling rocks and river channels. Find a high, visible and safe location to wait for rescue

Step 4 :Call 110 or 119 and use the location function on your phone. Use a whistle or shout loudly so rescuers can find you more easily. If you require interpretation services call the 1955 Hotline

Step 5 :Keep warm and conserve energy, wear a coat, use a raincoat or blanket to stay warm and drink small amounts of water to keep hydrated

The weather can be highly changeable in mountainous areas, remaining calm is the best way to survive
