▍Turn off the stove when you leave the kitchen

In Taiwan unattended stoves are the leading cause of home fires. Please pay attention to the following safety tips in the kitchen:

•Regularly clean the extractor hood and extractor hood vent pipe where grease can accumulate

•Do not place any flammable or dangerous materials near the stove

•When cooking, do not overfill pots and pans with liquids to prevent spilling when it boils

•When cooking, do not leave the kitchen to take a phone call or chat
