▍A guide to COVID-19 vaccination in 2025
From January 1, 2025 Taiwan’s government has offered free shots of the Novavax JN.1 COVID-19 vaccine
Foreign workers are eligible to get vaccinated in either of the following situations:
✔If they have not previously been vaccinated
✔If they bring their Alien Residents Certificate and National Health Insurance Card
This vaccine is made available to those unable to take an mRNA vaccine (such as Moderna) and individuals who have not yet been vaccinated against COVID-19. If you have already received a Moderna jab, there is no need to get the Novavax vaccine.
