▍Are employers allowed to arbitrality change leave days? Be aware of the rules

Is it ok for a family category employerto say he wants to reschedule national holidays, leave days and work days?

It is permissible, but requires the agreement of the worker.Such decisions cannot be determined unilaterally.

•National holidays:Employers can reschedule leave for different work days only after consulting with workers, but workers must agree to any changesin the schedule.

•Leave days:Employers cannot make unilateral changes and must solicit the agreement of workers.

If the employer requires workers to work on a holiday, he is legally obliged to pay overtime and failure to do so is a violation of the Labor Standards Act.

•The leave of live-in family category workers is determined by the provisions of the labor contract. However, employers are required to provide one day of leave for every seven days of work.

•If an employer requires a family category worker to to work on holidays, overtime pay must be paid.
