▍Reducing pregnancy-related risks:Prenatal health check-ups

Prenatal check-ups can identify potential health issues such as hereditary diseases or risks of infection,help improve fertility, reduce pregnancy-related risks and ensure the health of mother and child

Health check-up items

Femalehealthcheck-up:Complete blood count (CBC), urine examination, rubella antibody screening, varicella (chickenpox) antibody testing, syphilis screening, HIV screening, thyroid function testing, lupus (systemic lupus erythematosus) testing

Malehealthcheck-up:Complete blood count (CBC), urine examination,syphilis screening, HIV screening and semen analysis

Precautions

Vaccinations:Individuals lacking rubella or varicella (chickenpox) antibodies should first get vaccinated and only try to get pregnant three months after vaccination to reduce the risk of infection

Syphilis treatment:If the syphilis serology testis positive, a Treponema pallidum hemagglutination assay (TPHA) should be performed for confirmation, and antibiotic therapy administered

Chronic disease management:If you have systemic lupus erythematosus or thyroid issues, you should consult a specialist. Pregnancy should only be considered after the condition is stabilized with medication
