▍Be Careful of Being Underpaid! Here's the Correct Calculation for Migrant Workers' Overtime Pay!
Each week, workers are entitled to 2 days off, one of which is a public holiday, and the other is a rest day.
General Worker Overtime Pay Calculation:
•For up to 2 hours of overtime - The hourly wage is increased by 1 1/3 times
•For overtime exceeding 2 hours - Starting from the 3rd hour, the hourly wage is increased by 1 2/3 times
Domestic Worker Overtime Pay Calculation:
•If a domestic worker works on a rest day, they should receive overtime pay for 1 day as agreed in the contract(For example, if the monthly salary is NT$20,000, the daily wage would be NT$20,000/30 days = NT$667)
