內容:

▍Medical fees can be waived if you seek help for an occupational injury.

If you are injured while at work, you can apply for the waiving of related medical fees. The place you work for will issue an “occupational injury outpatients form” or “hospitalization application form” and this, together with your national health insurance card, should be taken to a designated hospital when you receive treatment to partially reduce the burden of medical fees.

If in an emergency it is impossible to obtain an “occupational injury outpatients form” or “hospitalization application form”

→See the doctor using just your health insurance card and return to the hospital with the aforementioned documents, original receipt and health insurance card within 10 days of the original appointment to claim a refund.

→After the initial 10-day period an application for a refund can still be filed with the Bureau of Labor Insurance within six months of the original appointment

Related application documents and treatment receipts must be retained to ensure your medical treatment rights are protected.

If you have any related questions contact the Bureau of Labor Insurance, Ministry of Labor. If you require an interpretation service call the 1955 Hotline for assistance.
