內容:

When a foreign worker transfers employers do they have to undertake a health check-up?

Q1.If a foreign worker is waiting for a transfer when he or she is supposed to take a regular health check-up, what should they do?

When foreign workers are waiting to transfer employers, they do not have to undergo a health check-up.

Q2.When do foreign workers have to get health-check-ups?

•Regular health check-ups: Employers are required to arrange regular health check-ups for foreign workers six months, 18 months and 30 months after the date on which the employment permit comes into effect.

•Supplementary health check-ups: If it is longer than one year since a foreign worker had a health check-up, the new employer is required to arrange for the worker to undergo a supplementary health check-up within seven days of the employment permit coming into effect.
