▎How to deal with a gas leak 

There are sometimes news reports about gas explosions and these often cause injuries and property damage. How can one prevent gas explosions in daily life?

In Taiwan, operators add an odorant to gas so any gas leak can be smelled. In such instances follow the instructions below:

•Carefully turn off the stove, gas cylinder or gas line switch

•Do not use any fire source or electrical equipment

•Open the doors and windows to ensure the room is properly ventilated

•Call 119 or contact the gas company and inform them of the situation
