▎Items of note when applying for a new or replacement passport

If you lose your passport or it expires, and the information in the new passport is different to the original one, go to the National Immigration Administration and update related information.

In addition, as the information in your passport relates to the right of foreign workers to reside in 
Taiwan, pay close attention to the valid period of residency. If it is less than that listed on your employment permit, be sure to seek an extension before the former expires to avoid illegally overstaying.
