▎Salary items should be recorded in detail
Every time I receive my payslip I can never work out how they calculated the total or understand why certain deductions have been made.
Have you ever received a payslip on which the details were unclear?
According to existing regulations a payslip should contain the following, with details recorded in both Chinese and the mother language of the foreign worker:
√ Total salary agreed on by the employer and the foreign worker
√ Amount paid for each salary item
√Deductions made in accordance with the law or agreed on by the employer and foreign worker. For example, National Health Insurance premium
√ Actual paid salary
If you receive a payslip that fails to clearly detail salary items call the 1955 Hotline and file a complaint.
