▍Scams involving owed customs duties or fines“Your package has been seized by customs officials please remit NT$8,000 to account number xxxxxx”“You are about to receive a package valued at US$5,000 on which you will be required to pay tax.”→ These are examples of scam messages1. In the event of any customs sanctions the Customs Administration will issue a written receipt detailing the objects seized.2.
