In accordance with the “Severe Pneumonia with Novel Pathogens Positive Case and Quarantine Release Conditions” if a foreign worker had no symptoms or only mild symptoms and it is more than 10 days since the onset of the illness, or the fever has gone for at least one day and the symptoms are easing, then following a notification from the health authorities he or she should be quarantined in one-person-per room accommodation for a further seven days before returning to work.

Foreign workers who take a COVID-19 rapid test that comes back positive will be directly placed in a government quarantine facility (or in the case of those requiring medical attention in a hospital). They will not be asked to return to their dormitory and observe home quarantine.

Foreign workers with a positive PCR test for COVID-19 should be placed in a government quarantine facility or hospital and treated in accordance with the “Severe Pneumonia with Novel Pathogens Positive Case and Quarantine Release Conditions.”
