Fraudulently posing as Chunghwa Post to offer personal loans

Recently, scam gangs have disseminated various fraudulent messages about preferential loan offers online, claiming that in order to assist with loans it is necessary to first create account cash flow. In fact, this is a scam intended to deceive individuals into providing their account number or bank card to be used as dummy accounts.

Be aware, Chunghwa Post provides only home loan services, it does not offer personal loans and does not work with government agencies to provide any loan services. Do not be deceived.

Countermeasures

•Do not provide anyone else with documentation, your bank account number or bank card.

•Secure bank loans through legal channels

•Verify information about discounts that are better than those offered by banks, such as favorable terms, quick processing, and low or no fees
